In the car on the way to church:
Walker: "Mommy I love Judy soooo much!" "I miss her."
Me: "I know you do baby, but she will be at your house tomorrow!"
Walker: "Judy is my best friend, mommy."
Me: "She is?"
Walker: "Yeah, you know why?"
Me: "Why?"
Walker: "Because she gaved me a breathing treatment and I was a good boy, so she gaved me a treat." "Cor-Cor didn't gived me a treat, he just gaved me a breathing treatment."
Leaving church tonight:
Walker: (whining)
Me: "What's wrong, baby?"
Walker: "I thought I was going to the play-da-ground with Yisa."
Me: "Well, mommy had no babies in the nursery, so we are going home now with Daddy. I thought you wanted mommy to come get you in a few minutes."
Walker: "But, I was having fun and you camed to get me. And now I am sad because I can't go to the play-da-ground with Yisa. I cryyyy...."
On the way home from the hockey game a few weeks ago:
Walker: "What do you think about when you are driving down the road, Daddy?"
Cliff: "What do you mean, son?"
Walker: What do you say to mommy?" "What is the poblem?"
Getting a hair cut a few weeks ago:
Me: "If you sit still while the lady is cutting your hair, we will go to Wal-Mart and get you some cookies."
Walker: "Hmmm...I'll think about it!"
At the youth BBQ today:
Walker: "Deres Donald with his Bar-b-que, and deres Daddy with his bar-b-que. But where's Cor-Cor with his bar-b-que, mommy?"
Walker (again): "Hey! Doze kids are stealing my chips mommy! Hurry, get them!"
Me: "Walker, those aren't your chips..."
Walker: "mommy! get doze kids, fast!"
(can you tell our lives have REVOLVED around BBQ this week?? So glad it's over!)
With Emily in the car at my school when they came to bring me my tennis shoes:
Walker: "Mommy, hey! I want you to get in here with us..."
Me: "I can't baby, I've got to go back in and teach the kids..."
Walker: "How are me and Emmy gonna get out of dis place? The road ends.."
Me: No baby, the road doesn't end...it just wraps around in a sharp curve where you see that wall..."
Walker: "Can I go pay with doze kids on that play-da-ground?"
There are SO many more, but these are a few I jotted down because they were cute and it was convenient to do so at the time. Just don't want to forget this stuff... Angie and I looked back at my blog the other night and just had the best time looking and reading things we'd both forgotten. :)
