I have two other loves. Two loves that aren't mine. But are. Two little girls who radiate beauty and happiness and possess such pieces of their parents, whom I adore. Two sweet, brilliant, undeniably cute, extremely social and pleasant little girls who captured my heart from the moment I heard of them forming in their mommy's belly-Audrey & Ava. Audrey was the first of my "friend" babies and the first of my honorary nieces...she hit the ground running when she entered this world and hasn't stopped. I saw the vibrant little thing moving in her mommy's belly on ultrasound and knew she was one of a kind! She's passionate, intelligent, strong-willed and amazing. I love her to pieces. She's also 5 and entering Kindergarten in the fall. What a big girl! Ava is 2 and a half, Walker's age. Walker's exact age, actually. Ava and Walker "rode" together in their mama's tummies for 9 months and boy was it a ride. One of the biggest blessings God has handed me in my life was to be pregnant with my best friend...after recovering from miscarriages together. We have babies in heaven together and babies on Earth together. Ava is special, so very special. She will always have a piece of my heart. She never stops smiling, even when she's upset...and she laughs. She climbs up in my lap and lets me love on her during playtime in a way that melts my soul, and I love her. Walker loves her too!
Walker and I were able to make-up our slumber party that didn't occur over Spring Break this past Friday at Jenny's. We had a blast! We got a small taste of what our vacation with 3 kids will be like-whew! SO glad our husbands (and babysitters!) will be on that trip with us. It was chaotic, crazy, entertaining and draining...but we loved it. Every minute of it. The only pics we took were at the park in Jenny's neighborhood. I took 77. Don't worry, I won't share them all!
