Easter 2010

We had a good Easter. First, the Easter Bunny came. This year, the Easter Bunny really scaled things down! (and we were GLAD!) Rumor has it, the Easter Bunny was heavily involved in a wedding, and almost FORGOT to get Easter basket stuff!!
Then we got ready for church and smiled REAL big!
Nonni and Josh came to our church on Easter, and we were very excited about that. Walker was especially excited b/c I didn't tell him they were coming. When he saw them come with us to get him from nursery he started saying "Jeremy! Joshie!" over and over...even though Jeremy wasn't there. :) It was so cute!
Then we went to Aunt Christie's and Uncle Marshall's for lunch with Grandmommy, Grandaddy, Christie and Marshall. The Easter Bunny came there too...twice! And one of the things he brought (and by far the favorite) was water guns!
There were 3 guns...and we all got wet!! It was lots of fun, and the food was way yummy too!
Then we went to Aunt Cindy's house for lots of fun with our side and Uncle David's side of the family. Walker & Jenna enjoyed playing together that day!
They "washed" rocks in Aunt Cindy's fountain while Kelli and some other "big kids" hid eggs for the hunt.
Then all the kiddos lined up to hunt eggs-we took lots of pictures trying to get one of everyone looking at the camera, and as you can see Walker got really bored! :)
Then the egg hunt began! This time, thankfully, Walker didn't try to hard to steal eggs out from under other kids hands. :) He found lots of eggs and had a great time!
I just like this one because it's sideways. :)
This face makes me laugh. I don't remember what it meant...probably that he'd spotted another egg, who knows??
Even though we didn't get a family Easter picture in our "Easter clothes" we managed to snap this one right before we went home...
We ended the day stopping by Grammie and Poppy's house to "say hi..." Poppy gave Walker a bath and we came home. We have no pictures because we didn't technically have Easter plans with them-it was wedding weekend and we were all tired. So, we just popped in for a minute and left.
The night before, after everything was done with wedding clean-up, we actually canceled all our Easter plans because we were so exhausted. But, we woke up Sunday feeling fresh and "Eastery" and wanted nothing more than to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior with our family and friends. We had a great day and I am so glad that He lives!!!

Man, you had a FULL weekend! Great, but full! I guess you were glad for Spring Break in more ways than one! I hope Walker's ok. I'm curious about the little mention of other blog subjects to come.
