The rest of the pictures are out of order...but that's just fine. :) Walker would have a fit if he knew it. Everything has to be the way it's "supposed" to be with him. Crazy kid. Here he is posing with Pablo in front of his tree. I got the idea to do the tree in his room from Tonya & Angela. Such a neat idea!
We've had lots of fun the past few days, just playing around and trying out new things.
Saturday, Walker pulled the chair out from the kitchen table, climbed up in it (never seen him do that before) and then proceeded to climb up on to the kitchen table. Yes, I just sat there and watched him because I was amazed that he was doing it...I immediately got him off once he made it to the top.

There's not much he can't get on these days-the kitchen counter and bathroom counter are about it, so I don't expect it will be too much longer before he's found a way up there too.
He broke the drawer on the bottom of his bed. I think it's fixable, but he pulled it out and jumped in it and through it, he went. Luckily it was only about a 2 inch drop and of course he thought it was funny.
We've heard some fun new "surprise" words the past few days. I was changing his diaper this morning and at some point my elbows were facing him, so he reached up and pointed at one and said "elbow." (????) I guess Judy's been working on body parts. We work on body parts but elbow is one we've never said to him. He also said "spidah" today when Ms. Spider's Sunny Patch Friends" came on TV. I don't know that I would have understood that one, had we not been sitting in front of the TV, but it was clear as day in context. :)
The past little while has been filled with days of him really, really trying and pushing his limits. He's very interested in what he can and can't get away with. He's had his fair share of "spankings" this past week. One of his new favorite things to do is hit the TV with both hands...of course this is unacceptable to mommy and daddy. After going round and round the other night, he got a pop on the hand. He proceeded to lean down and bite my big toe!! So, he got another pop on the hand. I told him if he bit mommy again, I was going to bite him back. I don't know if I was serious, it just came out. Don't judge. I know of lots of people who have done it and had it work quite well. :) If biting becomes a "problem" I'll definitely be doing some research on how to curb it! There was one other time this weekend I almost got bitten out of defiance. It was totally premeditated. I could see it all over his face. He got in trouble and he leaned over and THOUGHT about biting my hand, but I guess the little angel that lives somewhere deep inside talked him out of it. I saw his mouth open and those little eyes were glued to mine as he leaned in, then he just pulled back and hugged me instead. I think he's exploring ways to react to me when he gets in trouble. Lately, if he gets popped or reprimanded in a stern tone, he immediately runs to us and throws his arms around our neck (or legs if we are standing up) and gives us hugs and kisses. It's hard not to find that cute and of course he gets hugged back. He's gotta know he's loved no matter what. :)
He's sick again...it's a weird sickness right now. Ups and downs. He will seem totally fine, in fact Friday I thought he was completely "all better" only to discover otherwise on Saturday evening. We missed church this morning and only Daddy went. Tonight we were able to get out for a while after some Motrin and Walker was such a good little boy! He even got a new toy...but it's a secret because we were picking it up for Santa to deliver to Grandmommy's house!!
Two more weeks of work-10 days- and we are out on break again. I can hardly wait!!
I've been reading through Proverbs the past few weeks and Cliff and I have been working on a bible study/book together a few nights a week. We both felt we needed some spiritual recharging and this has been going great! Proverbs is an excellent reminder of how to live and what's really important in life. Definitely puts thing into perspective for me!

I'm counting Weight Watchers points again and so far, so good. I lost 2lbs this week. :) Tonight I had to cheat because I was getting burned out and knew if I wanted to continue strong and seriously I needed to give in for one night. It was good and I am over it, so it's back on the points counting tomorrow!
Cliff's been helping out with the youth group since our youth minister moved churches. He's doing the Wednesday night services again like he did before. I know he's enjoying the extra time to spend with the teenagers and he's so gifted in that area!
Well, that's what we've been up to. I always MEAN to update on the two of us, but I usually only write about Walker. (I know that's what people like reading about anyway...) :)
