Daddy Time

Walker and Daddy spent some quality time working on the vacuum Sunday after church. Turns out, all the "debris" from our shedding Christmas tree had clogged it in FIVE different places!! (not to mention our carpet is still semi-new and from time to time we get lots of "fuzz" when we vacuum...) These two really know how to fix something though! Teamwork is the name of our game. :)

If something is "all done" then hands go up in the air like "touchdown!" If something is "all fixed," apparently we clap. This is new...but he just started clapping away when we got the thing put back together...
Did you notice their matching outfits? This was totally by accident, but turned out really cute. :) They aren't wearing their shoes here, but even they matched. The only difference was that Daddy was wearing big boy underwear!

Here's a short video of an adorable laugh. I love this laugh. I hear this about 75% of the time because apparently, Cliff and I are the funniest people to ever walk the face of the Earth. Who knew?? I was trotting around the kitchen with my hands up on my head like antlers pretending to be a reindeer and Cliff just grabbed the camera. We even had to play this game at church nursery the next day...the rest of the kids thought it was just as funny.

New words this week that come to mind are: pumpkin, gabba, and pillow. I had no idea he knew the word pillow until he pulled the large seat cushion on the couch and said "pih-oow." This seems to be the trend...he just surprises me with new words.

Recently, he will eat just about ANYTHING if it's dipped in Ranch. I have no idea where this came from. One day we were eating something that had a little cup of Ranch with it and he reached over and dipped his food in it. He's been doing it ever since whenever he gets the chance...He actually asks for it sometimes. We don't overdo it, though...too much fat!

I cooked him eggs & bacon the other morning. He normally really likes bacon...but he refused to eat it. He just kept asking for "baaa" which is breakfast bar in Walker language. He ended up eating 2 of them and some watermelon before he was satisfied. I don't know why I even bother. The eggs & bacon went in the trash...

We went to Bass Pro up at Discover Mills today. He had a blast. He really loved seeing all the "mounted" animals. He saw the "be-ah" (bear) before I even did...and turkey was "beh-rd" (bird)...close enough! He also enjoyed just walking around the mall which is what he and I did while Daddy, Jeremy & Josh continued to shop in Bass Pro. So much to look at for little eyes...
He was wonderfully behaved...you just never know these days. But he did great. :)

Tomorrow, something BIG happens in his little life. Stay tuned. I'm sure there will be pics!! (I'll just say there's a first time for everything...)
