Here's our little family on Christmas Eve before the service. This was actually a self-timer picture. Walker's getting good at saying "cheese" and posing for the camera. It's a game to him now and it works out well for pics.
I put the gifts under the tree only a few hours before the Christmas Eve service and the bags were "unwrapped" several times by someone...(look at this GUILTY face!)
Visions of sugarplums danced in his head! His Christmas PJ's actually had a snowman and Pablo on the front. Ok, not really Pablo, but a blue penguin that looked surprisingly similar...
We managed to catch the "spread" on camera after Santa left our place...
He was instantly drawn to the Clippo's and then the aligator xylophone. The first word he spoke on Christmas morning was "teeeth" while pointing to the aligators teeth. :)
He stood up to make his way to something and noticed the balls in the tent. He couldn't have cared less about the tent until this point...but he proclaimed "BALL!" and then he took a "shortcut" in...
Eventually, he figured out there was a "correct" way in...
At least he sat on it...since then, he's been standing in the hole or putting balls in there. :) (this is for later, just thought it wouldn't hurt to have it in the bathroom as "practice.")
Some of his stocking stuffers...
Posing with Mommy before heading to Grandmommy & Grandaddy's house for Christmas breakfast.
Slinky's are for putting balls through. Didn't you get the memo??
He's spent about 90% of his time in the tent/tunnels since yesterday morning. He loves them. He even watched Yo Gabba Gabba from it this morning. :) But, his favorite thing to do is go inside, throw his body up against one of the sides that doesn't have an opening and fall into the tent as it topples over...tunnels and all. I'll get a video and post it later in the week. It's so funny. He cackles and does it over and over and over...
We split Christmas day between Cliff's family & my mom's side of my family. Today we had Christmas with Dad's side. It's been a wonderful Christmas. We (all 3 of us) are blessed beyond measure...and spoiled silly.
I think I said this in my blog last Christmas, but having Walker in our life has truly enabled us to experience Christmas in an entirely different way...and I'm not talking about the change in Santa roles. Before we had our own child, we didn't fully understand the love that a parent has for their child. Having Walker, has drawn an even more vivid picture in our eyes of the sacrifice that God made for mankind with His one and only Son. A sacrifice that we will never fully understand and one I am almost certain I could have never made...and for that, he sent atonement for my imperfections. What an awesome God we serve. We received many fun & exciting gifts for Christmas, but the greatest gift of all continues to be and will ALWAYS be the gift of the cross. Thank you Lord.

I wish we could make those toys about 10 times bigger...I think I would have a blast! He is starting to look like a little man. It seems different having girls, he looks all grown up in his sweater! By the way, this is Ryan.
