I have been looking forward to getting this pool since Walker was born. I know to the average person, it's just an average pool...but to me it's packed with childhood memories. One home video in particular still makes me laugh so hard I could pee on myself. Stephen, Cory and I playing away-Cory's lips as purple as a crayon jumping and landing on his padded diaper booty, Stephen yelling tarzan noises as he beats himself on the chest and me strumming the ripples on the inside of the slide singing "Denver the last dinosaur..." Ahhh...the memories. And so you see, Walker HAD to have this pool.
He kept doing this spread eagles stance. He'd get one foot on the stairs and stretch the other leg to the slide, then try to slide that way. It ended hilariously every time!
He especially liked the effects of sliding on his tummy and getting a face full of water.
Here he is "swimming..."
I love his shot I caught of him catapulting his body before he threw it down with force!
And...he's off!
He wasn't having too much fun though, that he didn't notice Amy pulling up. Everytime a car came down the road he'd say "Is that Amy?" Then when he'd see it, he'd tell me no and why it wasn't her. "No, that's not her. That's a white truck. Amy drives a small car." "No, that's not it, that's a van. Amy drives a small car." "No, that's not it. That truck keeps coming back again." You get the picture.
