This was before peaches...
Just a cute smile. :)
Walker's had a big week in his little life. On March 10, he cut his first tooth. It's the bottom left one. We were so excited! A day or two later we noticed another one trying to push through. He doesn't seem to be overly bothered by them but was a tad fussy the night before he cut the first one.
On Tuesday he started running a fever and on Wednesday I took him to the doctor. He was diagnosed with the flu. Poor, sweet, sick baby. He has handled it very well overall. For the most part he has been very playful and happy. From time to time you can tell he doesn't feel well and overall he hasn't been quite as "hyper" the past few days but still his usual smiling, laughing, crawlking self. There have been a few nights of us sleeping on his floor to make sure he doesn't "hang" himself out of the glider or carseat that he needs to sleep in to be upright. We thought we were making progress with shaking the flu as we went two days without fever, but the fever was back with a vengance today...in Albany, Ga nonetheless.
That leads us to the other big event in Walker's life this week. He took his first out of town trip on Friday to go to his Great Grandmother's 80th birthday party in Albany. On Friday, we loaded up with Dad, Kathy, Stephen, Cory, Crystal and Angie and headed to Cordele where we spent the night and then continued on to Albany this morning. We got home around 5:00 this afternoon.
Walker did really well on the trip. He was so congested though that he could not sleep in his pack n play as originally planned so he slept upright in his carseat in the bed. He slept all night though, as usual. Can't complain about that!
I can't believe he will be 6 months next week. This blows my mind. Oh...and we finally found a food he hates-peaches.

I can't believe he is almost 6 months! He is SUCH a cutie. We start Jamie on rice cereal next week (she will turn 4 months on Wednesday so rice cereal is her "birthday cake")... should be interesting. Sorry Walker has the flu. That is no good. I hope he starts feeling better soon!
Cute pictures!!!! He's adorable! I hope he is feeling much better now!
