Countdown: 3 weeks!

Wow, I can't believe it. It seems SO close, yet so far away...way too far away! We are so ready for Walker's arrival. I'm extremely jealous of anyone having a baby these days because it means there is one less pregnant person in the world sharing in my uncomfortableness. :)

Everything is going well. I had been having some super strong pressure and minor cramping at the beginning of the week. I was holding out hope that it was the start of something, but no such luck. According to Patti I've basically made no cervical progress in the past week, it just continues to soften. The good news is that I've lost another pound. My blood pressure continues to be normal and I have no major complaints!

I was released from the care of my diabetic specialist today. I still have to follow my diet and check my sugar but I don't have to go in for anymore nonstress tests or biophysical exams. This saves me $25 a week! I like the other doctor better who I don't have to pay the co-pay to everytime I go. At least they are the one's I continue to get to see for the next three weeks.

My fingers were really swollen when I woke up this morning and it took forever for them to start to look and feel normal. My dominant hand was really hurting and in alot of pain. It would get numb, tingle, ache, etc...the specialist said it sounded like carpel tunnel to her...it's feeling alot better right now but she said I'd most likely wake up in the same situation tomorrow. Great...

Cliff had his first football game last night. They won 36-0. Veteran's was playing their 3rd string and the other team still didn't score! I've posted some pics that Walker wanted to show off of his good lookin' Daddy being a coach. I'm also posting the pic from Walker's biophysical exam today. He was sucking away on the top of his hand. On the screen I could actually see his little sucking motions and it was just adorable. Obviously the picture doesn't capture that but hopefully you can somewhat make out the fact that he has his hand shoved in his mouth. He'll be a sucker, I suppose. This should open up lots of funny jokes about how Walker "sucks..." which my brothers Cory and Stephen find hilarious to say in front of Kathy to get a rise out of her!
I decided to post one last preggo pic of me on the blog...I'm not so sure I'll be willing to take anymore after this point!
