Come on out, baby Walker!

Here we are 1.5 weeks out! Come on, baby Walker! I had a doctor's appointment today and was dilated to a "good" 1 as she called it and 50% effaced. I was really hoping I'd be at a 3 or 4 and she'd send me on over to the hospital but no such luck. She asked if I wanted her to set me up to be induced and I told her I'd like to schedule one for my due date but that I'd really like to give him that time to arrive on his own before that. She's supposed to call me in a day or two with our induction date and we'll hope he comes before then!

When I told Cliff about that, he said if he'd been there he would have answered for me and said to schedule it immediately! :) I went to his football game this afternoon despite the fact that I knew I'd swell up like a beached whale in the heat. I just couldn't turn his adorable little self down. Veteran's claimed the victory today! Go Generals! I had a hard time paying attention due to a killer headache. I really need to get my sunglasses back. After the game, we did our usual date night Wednesdays and went to Tava's for dinner. We had a nice time just talking and laughing together. Having a baby really brings out the emotions and I think we've had more heart to heart talks in the past few days than ever before. It's been such a great time of bonding for us. I'm so excited to be the mother of his child. I love my husband! When we got home, he wanted to put the pack-n-play together so we did that. It's all ready to go.

Jenny's baby Ava was born on Monday. She is so adorable! I just loved her immediately. Watching big sister Audrey meet her was one of the most touching experiences I've ever witnessed. I'm excited that Walker will have someone so close to his age to grow up with and that she'll be like a cousin that isn't a cousin...
Jenny and baby are doing great. I'd post a pic, but she hasn't had time to post them yet b/c she's still in the hospital. So, I'm not stealing her thunder. But, once she gets them up on her blog I'll be sure to post one on mine!

Maybe the next time I write, I'll have my own baby to show off. Goodnight!
