Father's Day

Today we celebrate dads! We have an incredible dad in our house to celebrate, and we are so thankful for him. I also have an incredible dad to celebrate...and we did that with lots of food and homemade ice cream! :)
We celebrated Father's day in a few special ways this year. Saturday night we went to Dad's to celebrate his return from Africa, Father's day, and his birthday all in one.
This morning at church, we had Will's baby dedication. Pastor Stan and Cliff's best friend, Tory did an awesome job of reminding us just what wonderful gifts children are. This picture was taken during the portion of the dedication where Pastor Stan was praying over our sweet Pickle.

Mom, Barry, Aunt Christie and Grandmommy were all at the dedication this morning, along with some of our very special friends.

While we were having Will's dedication, Walker was busy in "Post Office", his Sunday morning class, decorating cookies for Daddy! He did a great job.
Then we had Father's day lunch to celebrate Grandaddy (Cliff's dad) & Cliff at Aunt Christie and Uncle Marshall's house. Aunt Christie cooked a delicious lunch!!

We all took a long afternoon nap, and then went back to Poppy's for a cookout. Poppy just wanted to see all his children and grandkids again, and we don't ever need a special occasion to get together! We took a walk after dinner to see the tractors. Walker, of course, had to try them all out. Poppy, Donald and Cor-Cor were all very helpful in letting him test them all out.

What a great day!
