2 kids, 2 milestones

We had two milestones in our house this weekend. One from each kid!

Today (on Father's day, no less), Will rolled from back to front! He's been working on this for quite a while. He mastered front to back a while ago, but this one took him a minute. However, he's got it now. We were at Poppy's when he did it and we all cheered for him. I even clapped. Yeah, I have found that milestone with the second child are no less exciting for me. There's something so rewarding about watching your child accomplish something they've been working towards. He was proud of himself!

And milestone 2 came from big brother. Walker successfully wrote his name for the first time yesterday. He did it twice, looking at my letters. I am not sure if he can do it totally on his own yet, but this is a very big deal for a little boy who has been working very hard. He has a hard name to spell, with not all letters being stick letters. He wrote both of these, but I think it's interesting that the letters look different in both. One was written holding the marker 3 year old style, and one was written with me having attempted to show him the correct way to hold his marker. We are proud!
