Tomorrow marks the 6 week countdown until Will's birthday. Unless of course I go into labor before my scheduled c-section, but I'm pretty much not counting on "letting" that happen!
We are all getting very excited...someone in particular...
I am so excited about Walker having a brother! I am sure that we will experience our share of sibling rivalry after Will's arrival. For now though I am enjoying the eager anticipation of a 3 year old who cannot wait to be a big brother!
Today when I told him I had a hard time getting up off the floor because my tummy was so big, he told me that maybe I should stop eating so much with Will in my tummy. :)
He already has his plans for when Will comes. He's informed me that he wants Nonni and Grammie to spend the night with him, but at his house. My plan is for them to share the responsibility...hate it for him, but I'll need my moms that week too! He can't have them all to himself. :)
Wasn't it a beautiful weekend?? We started it out by getting our van back on Friday. I was sooo excited. We haven't had it since it was stolen the Thursday after Christmas. It has been so fun getting good use out of it this weekend.
Friday evening the Hornsby's let us treat them to dinner at our house, which was nice because they are always and forever cooking for us on Fridays. However, my stuffed shells left me with massive heartburn and I pretty much spent the sleeping hours NOT sleeping and rather "cursing" (but not really) the tomato based sauce on my shells. I've pretty much narrowed my heartburn down to anything tomato-based and that eliminates ALOT from my food choices. :( But, I'm swearing it off...because it makes me miserable. And, miserable I can't be!
Saturday we spent the morning at home as a famiy and then met Tory, Cristy and the boys at the park for a picnic and afternoon of fun. The boys (big and small) enjoyed football, soccer, softball, bike riding (bike crashing...ahem, Mr. Tory...) and good old fashioned playground fun. I enjoyed sitting in a chair (where I belong right now) and watching all the entertainment with Cristy. :)
We were exhausted afterwards. My dad and Kathy came over for dinner and we grilled out. It was a good Saturday!
Today we had the January Jaunt at church. Oh my goodness, what fun! I had heard
that this was lots of fun, but I had no idea...lots of fun stories there. We love our church and our church family so much. God has truly blessed us with 213 as our church home.

Tomorrow I have my 33 week check up. It should be a normal/routine visit...blood pressure, weight gain check, belly measuring and heart rate check. At this point, I hope for nothing more. I need Will to hang out in there for 6 more weeks!
We've done lots in Will's room and made lots of progress. I'll post pics soon...as soon as I take them!
I'm extremely thankful for my husband these days. I always am...but I am pretty sure that nothing would be getting done around here if he weren't doing it. And by nothing, I mean nothing. Kid wouldn't be bathed, etc... He has truly been incredible and I thank God for the man He blessed me with. I couldn't do it without him!
Oh, I almost forgot! Grammie kept Walker today while we "jaunted" and she had a treasure hunt prepared for him. It was SO cute and he had so much fun. What a cool Grammie!
