Big Baby, Big Baby, Big, Big, Big!

We had our follow-up appointment today to check the growth and for any changes in my fibroid. There are no changes in it at this time, which is great news!
It remains about 2.5 inches thick in diameter which they described as "a pretty good size one but not the biggest (they've) seen."

I was shocked to hear that Will weighs about 4 lbs and 12 oz. We couldn't believe that he is already nearing 5 lbs with still 7 weeks to go until delivery day and 8 weeks to go until my actual due date. He is measuring in the 65th percentile overall, thanks to smaller measurements on his head...but his tummy is in the 97th percentile! They said that he likes to eat and I said "well, so does his mommy!"

He was being very shy today...he had both his hands and his feet over his face and we weren't able to get a really good shot of it today. But, he was NOT shy with his boy parts...so Daddy got a really good picture of that. :)

The ultrasound tech projected that he will be at least 8 lbs. AT LEAST??? Excuse me??? Good thing I am having a c-section, is all I have to say about that! This is the ultrasound tech that I was visiting because of my gestational diabetes with Walker and she projected him to be a 6 lb and some oz baby...he was actually 7 lbs and something... SO...let's hope she overprojected with Will and not under projected like she did with Walker. BUT...I've said ever since I could feel him moving that I think he's a bigger baby all around than Walker was. I guess only time (7 weeks and 2 days to be exact!) will tell!!

Big babies are so cute! Tripp was estimated to be over 9 pounds and was only 8 13. You'll have a little butterball from the start. :-) Thanks for the update. I can't believe the due date is only 7 weeks away!
