Just Because

It greatly excites me that I can take pictures (such as these) on my new cell phone and directly upload them to my snapfish account, just by linking my mobile number to my already established account. (try it...so easy!) So...I just wanted to share some of the pics we took Saturday at the park. For a phone, I think it takes pretty stinkin' good pics, don't you?? Of course the subjects aren't bad on the eyes themselves...so that may have a lot to do with it!
We recently discovered as we are clearing out our back land more and more, that it's possible to walk straight through our backyard to the playground at the school behind us. Walker said to us on Saturday "I have a great idea! Let's go walkin' in da woods and go to da park!" (by the way, he has a million "great ideas" a day!)
I LOVE this one! Walker is brilliant at the physical-and many other areas as well, I might add. :) But, he's an excellent do-er of outside things...and here he is showing off his awesome swinging skills! He thoroughly enjoys jumping out at great heights too...this I do NOT enjoy and will NOT brag on. I just know we're going to end up with a broken bone this summer. Please God, spare us!
This is just a cutie pie picture I snapped of him looking through the floor of one of the playsets down at me below. Love it.
He actually climbed this rock wall! My camera couldn't get the whole wall, but you can see from comparing Cliff's height that it was pretty high! When he started nearing the top I made Cliff put his hand on the tush because I was growing increasingly MORE nervous as I stood taking pics, ha ha!
He got one step further and said "Oh no, I might fall. I better get down..." That's my boy!
Just LOOK at that face!!
This is a shaky bridge-he's still not overly fond of these, but this is the first trip to the playground where he didn't INSIST that I go across with him. Last summer, he wouldn't dare cross it without me. Now, he crosses by crawling. Near the end of our stint at the playground this day, he crossed it standing and he proclaimed "I am SO brave, mommy and daddy!"
Now, this really WAS brave. Cliff lowered him down into the tire swing tunnel...I went down this thing too (yes, I fit!) and it was quite scary! ...but before that...
He climbed up it ALL BY HIMSELF like a really BIG boy! It's three tires high with chains in between each one...
And at the end of all the fun was naptime...I left him in his room as always, because going to sleep right now is a dream process for us, he's just doing so well...and a little while later I peek in and find him sound asleep in his glider. (He originally started out in his bed)... SO SWEET!
