2 Things Today

Two things from today I don't want to forget...

• This morning when I got out of the shower, Walker was awake and in my bathroom. He had my glasses on, and was looking at the floor walking very, very slowly in a bent down fashion. I assumed the floor looked awkward since he had on my glasses. When he noticed me looking at him he said "Good morning, mommy. I'm tracking for animals. I just found a garter snake!" (I kid you not. Yes, I'm shocked too...I still don't quite know what to make of this...and I have NO idea where he learned it. My suspicions lead me to Judy or Diego. It has to be one of the two...) DEFINITELY something I want to remember this time next year. :)
• At bedtime last night, we let Walker sleep in our room...a rare treat, but we had our reasons, nonetheless. He noticed Cliff getting into bed in only his underwear, and commented on how he wasn't wearing jammies. They talked about it for a few minutes, and that was the end of it. Tonight, after being in his room for a while, I peeked around the corner of the kitchen and down the short hallway to his room and see his "footprints" (aka footie pajamas) on the floor. He'd unzipped them, stripped himself of them and threw them on the floor. He was snuggled up under his comforter in the buff (except with a diaper) and going to bed. :) Cliff is Walker's hero-he wants to do EVERYTHING he sees his Daddy do. I can't think of a better person to want to be like!
