I be Fireman Sam!

Halloween was lots of fun! We started the morning off by going to eat breakfast at Bojangles. Later that evening, we went trick-or-treating at Grandmommy's and Judy's and then headed to the fall festival our church was hosting with some other churches in downtown Mansfield. Walker got to see a firetruck and get in it while he was dressed as a fireman and he was very excited about that. He also got to see a police motorcycle and car...and dog! He got lots of fun treats and special attention. :) He enjoyed jumping in the jumpy too, though he called it the "baby one" and was upset I wouldn't let him get on the bigger ones he is used to playing on at the jumpy place. (I'm sorry, but it had been raining, they were soaking wet and there were big kids everywhere!! as in teenagers!) He ran around all day singing "I be Fireman Sam" and making me sing the Fireman Sam theme song...which I halfway make up because I can never remember the words. :) I always forget to say that he saves the kitty cat and Walker always reminds me. I wish we could get him a kitty cat. He loves them so much!

I love this picture. Walker's two favorite things-Thomas tracks and fireman. Can't beat that!
Here's a picture of our little family on Halloween night.
Walker's really a hoot. He says so many funny things. I don't know if they are really funny or if they are just funny because he's so small and he acts like he's so big.
In the doc's office the first time we went this week (I'm sure I'll blog about this over the next few days) he said "Oh! I have an idea. I dedy to go home." Ha! He has an idea????? Where does he come up with this stuff?
At my Aunt Cindy's the other night, he was the life of the party. He was cracking us all up. It was time for birthday cake and he of course thinks it's still HIS birthday cake. He started yelling at everyone "birthday cake time, kids." over and over... KIDS??? We have no idea. They asked us where he got that and we honestly have no answer. Who knows? That whole night, he called everyone "kids..."
At the doctor today he said "Joy call me back and make me alllllll bedder, mommy." Yes, that's right-when Joy calls us back, she makes us all better. :) (Joy is the nurse practioner and not the one who calls us back, but she is the one we've seen twice this week).
After puking the other night he said "My medicine made me throw up." Now, how does he know that??? (and I think he was right too!)
When we were leaving the doc the other day he said something like this: (it's a few days ago, so I don't remember the exact conversation...) But he goes: "Ow!" and I notice he's covering his eyes from the sun. Then he said (this I remember exactly): "the sun is biting me!" HA HA HA HA.
He's been telling us for months now when something hurts and he always says "my _______ hurts depend on what he's talking about, but lately he's been conveying that in other ways. The sun biting him, for example, and also he said "Ow in my mouth" the other night. Crazy kid.
