He can now get on his school bus all by himself!
ONLY the cutest grin EVER!
A fun hat that Judy brought for Walker to play with...
Remember how I said "as long as there are things that can be pushed and moved???"
He gets to whatever he wants. (I know I should stop taking pics and start disciplining...)
Just playing...
Discovering that the cushion on the chair can be lifted...
Likes rocking the footrest back and forth...
Just climbing on stuff AGAIN!
Covering his book basket up with a sheet...he played with this sheet forever.
He decided the book basket was also for CLIMBING.
Reading one of his favorite books...he does so good lifting the flaps!
Every good bus driver has to stop for a drink!
Walker is SO much fun to be around. He's just the happiest child, always full of laughter. I crawled under the table with him today...one of his favorite places to play, and you'd think it was the most hilarious thing in the world. He laughed and laughed. Too bad we aren't all that easily entertained! He spends about the first 10 minutes I am home jabbering up a storm. Who knows what he's saying, but I feel certain he knows exactly what he's trying to say! He usually calms down about 10 minutes after I get home. It sure does feel good to have someone that excited to see you.
He learned how to do "roll 'em over, roll 'em over" today with Judy...as in "throw 'em in the pan!" He's sooo cute when he does it. His little arms get tangled when he's rolling them. He claps for himself...or maybe he's doing the patty cake part. Cute, either way.
He's just WALKING everywhere now. (He doesn't always hold his arms up like in the video on my last post though.) He can walk holding his football, his cup, etc...he's gotten very talented in this area. :)
He got a rice krispie treat out of the pantry the other day. We don't let him have these but he plays with them alot since they are individually wrapped. He got it out of the box, crawled to his high chair and stood up. Then proceeded to go "uh, uh, uhhhh" to let us know he wanted to get in his chair and eat it. No sir. He had to settle for a baby fruit bar...he never knew the difference. :)
He discovered that there is a humidifier behind the glider in his room. I blocked it off and he got around my block 3 times. I'll try to post a video if they will load.
Ok...everything above here I did lWednesday night but then it wouldn't post...so I am back for more! :) As a follow up to Walker doing "roll 'em over"...this morning (Thursday) he woke up early. I was changing his diaper and telling him that Judy was coming to play and that Mommy and Daddy were going to work again but would be home later. As soon as I said "Judy is coming..." he started doing "roll 'em over..." How cool is that??? See what I mean about this kid??
He's eating everything in sight these days. I said before that he pretty much eats what we eat but now he REALLY eats what we eat! He had his dinner tonight around 6. We had pizza around 7. He insisted on having pizza too...and ate wayyy too much of it in my opinion. He's had pizza before and boy does he love it. This came after his baby pasta stuffed with carrots and cheese, ham chunks, green beans and fruit chunks.
Well, well...here it is almost an hour after I started TONIGHT'S portion of the post. Walker is STILL awake. This is the first time in a while he hasn't gone right to bed...it's 9:00 now and he's pushing his bus around. The kid isn't even acting tired. The three of us were on the couch for several minutes...Walker snuggled up against Cliff watching Yo Gabba Gabba (our attempt to get him to fall asleep) and me sitting beside them. Cliff reached over and held my hand...and in that moment, I realized that my life couldn't be any better. :) And then the moment ended...and Walker wiggled off the couch, onto the floor and he was OFF...
And as for the videos I wanted to post...I had three short ones included but this post won't post...I've been trying since Wednesday night. It's now Friday morning (so this is a 3 day long post) and I finally decided to delete the videos. :)
