Something Cute.

Just some random information because I am too tired to organize this post. :)
Walker cut his first top tooth yesterday. He has three teeth total now.
He woke up during the night last night for the first time in as long as I can remember...and it was a very weird experience all around. Long story and too much to post. Maybe another time. :)
My friend Beth had her second baby boy, Jonas Andrew the other day and he's ALMOST the cutest baby boy I've ever seen!

Walker is getting more and more brave in the bathtub. He's starting to crawl around in there and since we keep the water pretty low, for now, he's able. He is also starting to try and stand up alot, which isn't always in his best interest.
Tonight his face went in the water a little and he did not like it. He got scared and immediately grabbed on to me and started kicking trying to get out of the tub but once he realized I had him and he was ok, the playing resumed...and wouldn't you know he went right back to trying to dip his face in again.
He's stood up twice this week in the tub and peed. I am sure he pees in the tub often but I've never known for sure until this week.
He's getting baths every night now. We were having bedtime problems and this seems to be helping. No more bedtime problems. Coincidence or not, we've established a routine and he likes it.
He isn't saying "hey" as much these days but rather babbling off long strings of sentences no one can understand. :)
By accident, he can point to the dog, cat and duck almost everytime he is prompted in his big animal book.
He is eating and eating and eating. He's up to 3 jars of food at dinner-two veggies and a fruit. This doesn't even count breakfast and lunch.
He can feed himself puffs now. I may have posted about this before, I can't remember. Needless to say, it's all he wants to do. He does NOT need help!
He has gotten more bumps and bruises this week than I ever imagined he would. I'm getting more and more brave and gasping less and less when he falls down. I learned that he responds to my reaction. He's a tough boy.
We played outside this afternoon and he tried to eat grass. Somehow, someway, he got a rock in his mouth. I'm the worst mom ever. I have no idea how it happened and don't know how long he had it in there. I was carrying him to the mailbox when I noticed that he looked like he was moving something around in there. I stuck my finger in and pulled out a black rock the size of a puff. I freaked out. I was so upset. We came inside.
I can't get very many pictures at all of him looking at the camera. There will be a severe deficit of pictures in his baby book of this age and stage. He just won't be still.
He crawls faster than I can drive...and that's pretty fast.
He lays flat on the floor now to look underneathe things like the fridge, the dishwasher the buffet in the kitchen, etc...he can see things we don't.
He cannot poop while sitting up. If he's eating and I can tell his tummy is hurting, we have to put dinner on hold, get on the floor and let him get on his hands and knees or at least get that little booty up in the air to get the job done. Then we can resume eating. I know, gross.
12 days of school left and I can hardly wait. I'm excited about my new job and anticipating the change...but mostly looking forward to 6 weeks off of work with my sweet boys.
My brother is getting married in less than 3 weeks. This is crazy, exciting, exhausting and emotional all at the same time. My little brother is getting married. I can't believe it. I love Crystal so much and couldn't be more thrilled for them!
One of my best friends, Heather, saw my previous post and thought I was pregnant again. I had to share this. It made me laugh. :)

I haven't posted a video lately. He's doing this very goofy laugh these days but of course I can't get it on camera. So, here's his normal laugh with a little encouragement from his Daddy behind the camera.

I loved this post! It is great to read about all of his changes. That was hilarious about the poop. Does he still take a bottle too at his feedings? I think Jamie would eat that much if I let her. She has a FIT when I stop feeding her to finish up with milk. Our babies are growing up too fast!!!
