Our last vacation of the summer was quite a treat! Nonni and Grampa treated us to a week at the beach in Panama City at the resort where my brother Josh works. This vacation was an absolute blast! None of us wanted it to end. (well, maybe Grampa...lol) We had such a great time playing on the beach, in the pool and doing lots of other cool things like shark fishing!
Walker and Cliff love the pool. The highlight of Cliff's trip was playing in the pool each day with just Walker. They had a great time!
Walker enjoyed some beach time as well. Uncle Jer taught him how to ride the waves on his boogie board, and they had a great time doing it!
One day while Will was napping I talked Walker into letting me bury him in the sand!
We played putt putt, and everyone was impressed with Walker's mad golf skills!
One day, nonni and I took the boys to an amusement park for some afternoon fun away from the sand! Here are Nonni and Walker on the Scrambler. Boy, am I glad she was willing to ride this one!!
Josh's girlfriend, Ashley, got us free tickets to Gulf World while we were there. The boys really enjoyed the dolphin show!! We all did!
Will and I like the beach the best! We spent a lot of time at water's edge...
Every now and then, Fish Walker came out of the pool for some sand play with his brother.
This is Josh's little hut where he works each day. We had two sets of beach chairs reserved for us each day right beside it when we came down, so we were able to spend lots of time visiting and hanging out with him while he worked and we played!
I don't have pictures, but Walker, Nonni, Grampa, Ashley and I also went parasailing!! I was SO proud of Walker. (as always) He was just so brave. We had to ride a banana boat out to the parasail boat. I didn't feel brave at all then! I was wayyy too far out in the ocean while being wayyy too close to the water. Walker, however, loved it. He laughed and squealed the entire time. We also both really enjoyed parasailing. My son is more brave at 4 than I have been most of my life. I have so much to learn from him!
We had to get the perfect family shot...which we never did get. :) But, it served as the foundation for a good family inside joke, so at least a good memory came from it all!
My boys are so incredibly handsome!!
We had a great time and we are so thankful to Nonni and Grampa for giving us a vacation we will always remember. Also to Josh and Ashley for providing some pretty cool (and free) entertainment and activities! I don't know how I didn't manage to get a picture of Grampa on the whole trip, but he was definitely along for all the fun!!
