Wedding Videos

Walker had JUST about convinced us that he's lost all traces of shyness...this is based on his performance at the rehearsal Friday night and what a GREAT job he did being brave and playing his special part in Mamaw's wedding. Also b/c he was just plum WILD (as boys tend to be, or so I'm told...) Then the morning of the wedding, he wasn't short of performances either, as you will see him in the first three videos performing on stage in front of a good number of people-not a sanctuary full, mind you...but people he didn't know which is just NOT Walker. I decided to whip out my camera after his first few performances because he was just cracking us up with his complete and total randomness...CLASSIC Walker here. :) And then the last video is of his big wedding debut. He actually ribbets when he reaches the steps...and then proceeds to ribbet a few more times. (Ribbeting is what he does right now when he's uncomfortable and doesn't know what else to do. Yes, I know...weird!) He was supposed to go stand on the stage by Poppy and come down with Poppy right after Poppy prayed. (just a few minutes into the service...BUT...he had other plans, and it was HILARIOUS!) Mamaw had assured me that whatever he did would be fine and the congregation seemed to enjoy, so I was able to sit back and appreciate being the mama of that fine looking young man who was cracking everyone up, rather than being stressed that he wasn't following the plan. It was a great day and he did a great job! When he got to my lap he said "Mommy, I don't like all these people." and then a few minutes later he said "I want to go up on stage and sing my song!" So...I'm thinking it was in the best interest of the wedding that he didn't stay on stage as planned, ha ha ha ha ha. Enjoy the videos!
