Big News!!

We have a potty trained little boy!!!!!

We've worked on this all summer with little breaks here and there because of trips, etc...but this past week Walker has truly done it on his own. I guess it's true that when they are ready, they will really do it!

He struggled some with pooping in the potty, but we've found a system that works for that and the past two days he's mastered that part of it as well! He's gone out and about ALOT lately with big boy underwear and knows his signs...he's all about being BIG now!

We are SO proud of him! I've ordered him a reward-a toddler digital camera he's been wanting (well, one similar to the one he's been wanting...) and we are going to have a potty party as soon as the camera comes in. A friend of mine did this when her little one trained and I thought it was a great idea. We are SO proud of our little big boy!!

We used the camera as bait earlier in the summer when he played with Audrey's digital camera and begged for one. We told him when he had no more accidents and wore big boy underwear all the time he could have one. We haven't talked about that thing in weeks, probably since before our Orlando vacation. So, yesterday he said "Mommy, I think it's time for dat camera!" ...and I agree!!
