Jesus Loves Me

Jesus loves Walker...and Walker loves Him too! I love, love, love hearing my child talk about God and Jesus in the way that he understands. It's so precious to me. He is learning so much at church during Sunday School, Mission Friends on Wednesday and our new Sunday night program-Elevate, Jr. Tonight after Elevate, Jr he came home telling me "Friends take turns..." Why, yes they do! Cliff even "used" the lesson tonight when Walker didn't want to share his Bible with us. :) It was so fun tonight to look through the window and watch him doing the dances and songs from Elevate, Jr. Just precious!

After we read our Bible story tonight, Walker asked to sleep with his Bible. It was precious. When I turned off the lights he said "yites on mommy, i see God." Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Some of the things he says make me want to cry because my cup just runneth over.

He's so cute naming his Bible people-Dabid, Uh-why-if (Goliath), Adam (he says this perfectly), Eve, Ho-Ho (noah who apparently resembles Santa), the list goes on... It's just precious. He loves talking about Baby Moses and I am so surprised how much he retains, even weeks after a lesson. Though, I am not sure why I'm surprised. Walker's had an incredible memory most of his life.

Here are some recent videos. In one, he's saying his name. :) SO CUTE... The other he was just "simming" in the bathtub singing away, so I grabbed the camera. I missed the part where he sang "Jesus moms me" ha ha. He can't say loves and it comes out "moms me" So sweet. I know his voice brings tears to the heart of our Savior...

Walker's so dramatic these days. He thought Thomas was under his bed and when he looked and didn't see him, he covered his face with his hands and said "OH DEAR!" Where does he get this stuff???? It blows my mind-he has such a little adult sense about him. Cliff and I today were saying how much he just talks-he talks constantly about everything and anything. He literally does not stop talking when we are at home. He's a little more reserved in public, thank God. :) Today he said several just random things-Cliff poured some diet coke and Walker observes everything...he said "diet coke goes up, Daddy..." (he was referring to the fizz) and then "dat goes down too..." Such a little conversationalist. When we were leaving church this afternoon he said "Go to Ducy's (lucy's) eat with Cor-Cor, Gi-Gi, Dyan & Amy...peease, mommy??? I go?" He knows our routine, that's for sure! And of course-he got to go!

At dinner we made him a cut-up cheeseburger and some creamed corn. He loves the corn but didn't want the cheese burger, even though it was overflowing with cheese and mild taco sauce. (don't ask...) Anyway-he's gotten to the age where he WILL eat when forced. "If you want more goldfish, you have to eat three bites of your hamburger..." and he'll do it! And guess what? He actually loved his hamburger. BUT...before all that, when we sat down to eat and he climbed up on his pot he said "Where my chicken nuggets mommy? Where dey at?" Ha ha ha ha ha.
