Super Fun Day!

Today was an exciting day! Kim & Katie came to play. Walker & Katie haven't played since June, and they've both changed so much since then! Walker didn't seem to hold a grudge about the sunglasses/pool picture we took of them the last time they were together, because they had the best time today.
We did lots of fun things. The first thing that happened was that Walker had to show off all of his toys in the playroom. He had to give Katie a play by play of what everything did. After he got done showing off, he decided to take Katie into his tent. Katie likes to knock down the tent too!

Here they are talking on the phone. Notice Katie responding with her own "phone..."

Every now and then, Walker gave Katie the mean face. It just wouldn't be right, otherwise...

He liked to surprise her with what was inside the toy!

And feed her toys too...(he felt sorry for her while we were eating at McDonalds because she had squash and he had chicken nuggets & fries... you can guess who the "healthier" mom is.) He he...

We decided to take a walk to walk off some of our McDonalds, but first had to pause for a group shot. Then we went outside...we made it all the way around the neighborhood once before Walker got sick of his stroller, which was a miracle! Then he wanted to push Katie in hers, so Kim let him help. (see her blog for pics).

While we were walking, Daddy came home. He really liked Katie's pigtails. They made him want a little sister for Walker. Woah, Daddy! Not so fast...
It was a great day! Katie being here, made Walker want to stay up longer before his nap. He was up almost 6 hours before he took a nap! That's crazy for him...usually 3, or 4 max is all he can handle. He just was having a great time. He absolutely LOVED Kim's ponytail. He would swat it and laugh and laugh. I guess I never really wear a pony tail...especially now with my hair cut.

Here are just some other cute pics from the week...

The newest hiding place...(normally the doors are completely shut and we act like we can't find him, so he pushes them open and laughs...)

A mom who will let her kid eat McDonalds, also lets him eat an ice cream sandwich. (but this was his first one!! ...and he didn't even finish it...)

We had Walker's 15 month check-up Thursday...even though he's already 16 months. He had 4 shots, two in each leg and was not happy about that. He weighed 23 lbs and some ounces...can't remember off the top of my head and I don't feel like going to get the sticker. He was 32 inches tall.

Funnies-
*I found a chocolate chip cookie, two of Cliff's DVD's and a car in the bottom of his clothes hamper when I did his laundry the other day...
*I made a bubble bath with baby shampoo today and he refused to sit down it. He kept staring at the bubbles and saying "nooo" over and over. I finally sat him down myself after manually bending his legs and he had a blast.
*He was told by Judy that he couldn't have a cookie (or something) until after he ate his apple the other day, so he shoved his apple under his booster and said "gone gone!" Can't get much by him!
*He says "Deef!" when he plays with a certain ball now, because Cliff will hit it out of his hand and say "Defense!"
*I lost him the other day and found him crouching behind two garbage bags (BEHIND the baby gate) that were piled on top of one another, he was grinning ear to ear...
*He refused to eat anything other than Fruity Pebbles for "bektast" this morning...
*He calls me "my mama" almost every time now. MELTS ME.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS!!
*He now responds to a very stern "NO" when he tries to climb in the chair to get on the table. Many spankings (and sad times) later, a spanking is no longer necessary. He simply obeys...for THAT situation. (not so much the others...)

In mom and dad news...
*We went to dinner with Justin & Melissa Henderson the other night. We had Jim & Nicks and a BLAST. We get along great with them and have really hit it off. This was our second time going out with them and all 4 are eager to get together again soon. We're enjoying having a set of couple friends that we both have so much fun with. I don't think we stopped laughing the entire dinner.
*There may be some exciting news on the homefront...but I can't say much yet. I know, I know...I hate it when Jessica did this to her readers. But, new to come soon. (hopefully). :)

He is cush a cutie. Glad he had a fun play date! Jamie has started having some playdates now and it is so much fun to see how little ones interact. I laughed about "Deef" - Jamie now calls balls "Kick" because we always tell her to kick them... oh well.
