Well, this is the 2nd time I've updated in just a few days. Don't get used to it. :) Walker had his 6-month appointment today. Cliff and I took him for his 3rd round of shots and to find out all his stats. He currently weighs 17 lbs and 6 oz and is 26 and 3/4 inches tall. His head measured 17. He still falls in the 50th percentile in all areas.I broke the news to our pedi that I did start solids early but that he was doing so well. She was happy for him and told me it was now time to introduce the sippy cup. Wow, so soon?He successfully tore up the paper on the table in the office but she said that at a 6-month appointment if she doesn't come in and find the paper all ripped, she is concerned there is something wrong with that child. :) She was kidding of course. She called him "wild one" and said that she was going to go ahead and write us a prescription for Ritalin. (she was kidding again) Oh the future we have ahead of us... She said when we came in for the 9 month appointment he'd probably be walking in. I'm not sure I want him to. I am not sure I'm ready for that. He already exhausts us in every possible (and wonderful) way. When we told her he was pulling up to a standing position and crawling, she said he was 3 months ahead. I think she embellished the truth a tad on that one. I know plenty of babies his age doing the same thing. The nurse seemed a little shocked that he wasn't really saying words yet. She asked if he said even Mama and Dada and seemed a little shocked when we said "No, he just says made up words like Gaga." I'm not concerned. Again I know plenty of babies his age and older not talking yet. If he never spoke a word we'd love him just the same and be just as proud of him. Of course, we DO want him to talk when he's ready though!Dr. Miller has a new office. It was awesome!! You walk in and there is a check in for sick and a check in for well visits, then separate waiting rooms. To some of you this may seem the norm, but this was NOT at all the case at her old office. There are even different sides of the office for sick exam rooms and well exam rooms. So cool! We were in the 60's room today. Very cute.Bathtime issues have been solved!! Walker is doing GREAT in his duck tub with the foam bear shaped thingy in the bottom. (except for when he tries to climb out...pictured in the blog) He LOVES bathtime. Oh...and he spent the night with my mom last night because Cliff and I had some things we needed to take care of and they had some bathtime fun of their own in his new speedracer boat. Check out the pics. The one where he's standing and leaning on the edge of the tub is a REAL picture. He actually pulled up on his own. Of course I held my hands very nearby so that if he slipped I could catch him. I'm a bad mommy for letting him do it but I wanted to see if he could..and if you know my child, you know that when he sets his mind to something, he WILL do it. We'll have to work on that very, very soon

Don't worry, you aren't over feeding him.... Now Jamie on the other hand...shessh... she weighs 3 oz more than Walker and she is 2 months younger! He is SUCH a cute little boy. Love his Easter outfit. So cute.
He is getting so big! I want to come see him and just squish him :)
I am glad that Walker is doing so well and is so healthy! The pics are sooo cute! Your stories about how active he is really remind me of Logan. Logan is four now and today I walked in the kitchen to find him on the very top of the refrigerator. And he was standing up with his hands on the ceiling. When I asked him what he was doing he said, "Lookin for doughnuts so go away Mama!!!!"
All I can say is just get ready girl! They keep you on your toes!
