Everywhere. That's where we stand. Walker's new and most exciting hobby is standing. If he can get a hold on it, he's pulled up on it. It doesn't even matter if it moves. He walks with it.
He stands at the TV, at the couch, in his bed, by his changing table, at his dresser, beside his basket of books, "in" the fridge, against the cabinets...you get the picture.
This little boy is truly a child who knows the way to his mommy's heart. I now completely understand the mother/son bond. He's ALL boy, there is no doubt about that...but he knows there is a time for snuggling with mommy. He will play, play, play and always takes a moment here and there to pause and love on me. He does this to his Daddy too. Just tonight he was playing hard (past his bedtime) and having a ball. We were rolling all over the floor together, all three of us and he was cracking up. All of a sudden, he crawled 90 miles an hour, straight at me. Then he stopped, opened his mouth and kissed my cheek and then wrapped his little arms around my neck and hugged me. I promise you this child knows how to show affection already. Then he proclaimed "hey!" and started laughing. He snuggled a bit more and went on his way. I love it that he's so active, yet takes the time to let me snuggle. He's truly the perfect combination.
He is now taking his baths in the big boy tub and he loves it! I wish that you all knew my brother Cory when he was a baby so that you could appreciate how identical he looks to Cory in this tub picture.
He rides his school bus now and he is so proud. He knows he is doing something! He grins and grins. He absolutely loves it. He will blow the horn and also make the children sing as he rides. Then when he's done, he just dives off.
We are in the process of switching formula and he's doing excellent. He's also pushing his bedtime a little later which we LOVE! Some nights he is awake up until almost 8. Then some nights he's ready for that bedtime bottle at 5:50. You just never know. He's been waking up consistenly in the 5 am hour...usually closer to 6:00 and we don't love that so much, but once we are up and moving we remember exactly how sweet it is to cuddle him for about 20 minutes before he starts running wild...and then it just becomes absolute and unmatchable fun. It just is.
I love hearing others talk about my baby. The people who know him well and spend ample amounts of time with him, just think he's the best and most fun thing ever. And, he is. :) There's nothing like hearing others who love your baby so much love talk to him and about him. I'm so thankful for all the time, energy and love that so many of our family and closer friends put into his life. They are all helping to mold him into the man of God we pray he will become.

He is SUCH a doll and growing up so fast! You love to watch your child learn and grow, but it is kind of sad that it happens so fast!
Hehe he's so adorable!! Looking at his tub and schoolbus pic, he already has the football player build (He's definitely his daddy's son!) I know that you and Cliff couldn't be prouder, and I am so glad God has blessed you guys so much with such a precious little boy!!!
