Making progress...

The changing table arrived today! Cliff, Cory and Jake put it together this evening. It really was a one man job, but one thing I've learned about men is that they have more fun doing this sort of thing together. I took a million pictures of the process, so I'll post a few. We haven't gotten the baskets to go on the shelves yet, but that's ok because we have nothing to put in the baskets at this point! :)

I've had a really hard time sleeping lately. I cannot get comfortable to save my life! This is only at night. I can nap with the best of them...and have been. I toss and turn all night long and when I do finally fall asleep I wake up 30 minutes later to go pee, and then again 30 minutes later...the cycle continues.

Overall things are going really well. We have our first shower this coming Saturday by Cliff's dad's side of the family. I am very excited. He gets to come to this one because it's a family cookout shower. I told him I was going to let him open the gifts since I'll be at the others by myself, most likely. I can hardly wait!

Sunday we leave for our babymoon...aka our trip to Myrtle Beach. We've never been to the beach together before so we are very excited. We're such dorks...what we are most looking forward to is ordering pizza one night and sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean and eating pizza. You all know we find joy in the simpler things in life anyway.

This week we've been working Vacation Bible School. It's Cliff's first VBS because he didn't go as a child. It's been a blessing of a week. Next summer, Walker will attend his first "VBS" while mommy and daddy work...but really he'll just be in the baby room that's only for worker's kids.

He's been sleeping alot this week and not moving as much. I had two cokes at the Japanese restaurant last night and he went crazy. I guess he's missed his caffeine since I hadn't had any since about last Thursday. He likes to wake up at night though. I hope he gets this figured out before he arrives. Doubtful.
