Christmas already...

...for me anyway!! Tonight has been awesome! Our friends Jenny and Ryan came to visit and brought us all sorts of goodies! They made a special trip to Covington and even had their anniversary dinner here to bring me some maternity clothes. Now, Jenny also knew that I'd be passing a few things along to her that I'd outgrown since this was our deal when she lent me her clothes while she was pregnant with Audrey. However, I definitely got the better end of this deal! I am talking maternity clothes by the boo-coo's. I am not really sure if that's how you spell that term, but I hear people say it and thought it was fitting for this situation. She also brought a blow up bathtub duckie thing and a massive pregnancy body pillow. I am expecting to sleep wonderfully from here on out...
Ryan brought Cliff a book about becoming a father-we hear it's good bathroom humor. I'm curious, so I am sure I'll be reading it as well. Jen also brought me another book-she knows I can't get enough of good reading! There were a few other things in the mix too. I am so very excited about this! I am sure you can all tell. As soon as they left I tried on every single thing that she brought. Abotu 4 of the shirts were already too little because she started out smaller than me when she was pregnant with Audrey. However, most of it is going to be great...and I do plan to wear something tomorrow! I haven't outgrown pants yet, but they are definitely getting uncomfortable because of the swollenness (is that a word?) of my belly due to water retention. And I have definitely already outgrown a few of my shirts. There are a few pairs of capris that if I don't wear now, I won't be able to fit into soon. Like I said...she started off a good bit smaller than me. My friend Tonya tells me she started wearing maternity clothes right away, so I'm ok with it! :) It just makes it all the more fun...besides, like I said-if I don't wear some of it now I won't be able to fit into it soon! I am sure 7 months from now I will be so sick of maternity clothes I will look back at this blog and just insist I was crazy when writing it. Of course I had to model some of the clothes for Cliff and he wasn't nearly as excited as I was about me having new clothes, but when it comes time to buy new stuff and I already have it he will be extremely excited!
Enough about clothes-I know none of you care about this anyway...I'm just excited. I had a great day today and felt really great all day. Yesterday was another story. I took a two hour nap when I got home and would have continued to sleep except my darling cousin Kelli called and woke me up. I am hoping tomorrow will be as enjoyable as today was. Each day brings new things, new symptoms and new experiences!
Oh, and just for the record Cliff just walked into the living room and saw the massive pile of maternity clothes and got excited. :) Gotta love him!
