Halloween...Oops!

I started a Halloween post about a month ago (the day after Halloween to be exact) and never finished or published it.  So, here we go...Halloween in almost December!
We had our annual fall festival at church the Sunday night before Halloween.  We had a blast playing and enjoying fellowship with our wonderful church family.

This is Walker's best friend Luke.  These two are a MESS...but the best kind of mess there is!  Sidenote, every other Sunday Cliff teaches with Luke's mom and I teach with Luke's dad at church, so the boys are running around together before and after church.  Every week that we teach, we park behind the church near the door to our classroom, and everytime we are standing around talking to friends after church, Walker & Luke climb in our van...get in the very back...and hide!  They are determined Luke is going home with us.  Silly boys.

This year, the fall festival didn't fall on Halloween day, like it normally does.  We had a special treat and got to go trick-or-treating with our great friends, the Lesniaks. (and some of their great friends...the rest of the kids don't belong to JUST Jen and Ryan!)  Here are a few pics from the night.

Walker was beyond thrilled to go "real" trick-or-treating.  He'd only always gone to his grandparents and maybe an aunt or uncles house, depending on the Halloween.  Jenny's neighborhood does a big "to do" and we had SO much fun.  I don't even know how many houses the kids trick-or-treated at, but it was ALOT.  Alot. Alot.

Here is Walker and special friends Audrey and Ava.  Ava is Walker's belly buddy.  :)

To finish the night, we trick-or-treated and visited with Nonni, Gampa, Jer and Lesly!  This was a special treat because since Nonni lives about 35 minutes away, we don't typically visit her house on Halloween.  SO fun!
It was a great Halloween!  Walker had a blast, was very well behaved, wasn't scared of any of the scary costumes that sometimes greeted us at a door.  Will was a trooper.  He just rode in the stroller while Daddy pushed him, being the precious little booger that he always is.

Thanks, Jenny and Ryan for letting us experience "real" trick-or-treating and have a Halloween to remember!
