Will's Birthday!

Will Douglas is here! He is almost two weeks old by the time I'm doing this post. He became an "official" part of our family on March 8 at 10:09 weighing an even 7 lbs and was 19 and 3/4 inches long.

Will arrived before his due date and scheduled c-section date based on the decision of my very caring doctors who felt that immediate delivery was the best option considering some concerns they have.
Will couldn't be more perfect. Though we were all a little concerned, he came out perfect. I breathed a huge sigh of relief and uttered a silent prayer thanking God for his blessing when Cliff told me the doc gave him a thumbs up sign as she pulled Will out into this world.

Big brother is amazing. He adores Will. He is a very big help and wants to make sure Will is ok at all times. He's experienced a bout of jealously here and there, but it was mainly isolated to one day and not directed at Will at all, but rather Mommy. :) We made it through though and are enjoying watching our two boys get to know one another. Will's eyes open big and wide when he hears Walker's voice, and I swear even at this young age he has a different response to Walker than he does anyone else. I cannot wait to watch their brotherly relationship grow!
Will is just the most precious and perfect baby. He has brought so much joy to our family already...

...and he loves his Daddy so much! (Daddy is pretty stinkin crazy about him as well...) For the first several days of his life the only time Will would open his eyes was when Daddy talked to him.

...but Mommy has had some very special moments to...and it's clear that God multiplies the love we have for our children...
