First of all, my pics are uploaded backwards...I don't know why I can never remember that I need to upload the one I want last, first...but I don't. I'm not starting over... :)
Grandmommy has retired. She's used to working...she's been doing awesome things for us, like drying all my laundry that I am forever behind on because our dryer is currently broken and we've been too busy this week to get it fixed. I wash, she dries and folds...it's awesome and the help couldn't come at a better time. Today, THIS (see picture) happens...and I honestly thought I was dreaming. I never, ever, ever, ever thought I'd see Grandmommy on a motorcycle. This is Cliff's cousin Randy's motorcycle. They rode it over to bring us two loads of laundry she'd folded for us today. :)

We are, after 7 years of marriage, getting new bedroom furniture. When we got married we "inherited" my grandparents bedroom set. It was a huge blessing and has been a very special part of our home to me. However, the time has come to get new furniture and it arrives tomorrow!! We are excited to be "moving up" to a king sized bed. Cliff painted the bedroom today in preparation of the new furniture coming...and he had a little "help." :) The funniest conversations unfolded during this afternoon. One of my favorites went something like this:
"Mommys can't paint. We are the mans, we figure things out. That's why we can paint, right Daddy?" Cliff of course answered. Then every 2 minutes or so he'd say "How you coming awong, Daddy?" It was hilarious. He said it about 6 times. Then at one point I said to Cliff "honey, I can paint the doors if you want..." and Walker promptly replied "I said you can't paint. It is very hard! You have to get the hang of it, right daddy? You have to get older mommy. That's why you can't paint mommy."

Thursday night our friends came over and while the kids played and women socialized, the "mans" worked... They got the border hung around the wall and I am just wild about it. I love Will's room. LOVE IT. :)

Today we had to move the bassinet into Walker's room for a while so that Cliff could paint in our room...plus, I am cleaning out the bedroom for the new furniture to arrive. I told Walker he should practice with his stuffed animals and pretend they are his brother. (he's informed me on MANY occasions that he does NOT want a baby doll to practice with because that's a girl toy...) Anyway, I found this. :) That's a bunny and a bear...covered with a blanket. He even had a small pillow under their heads. I guess eventually I will have to explain to him that babies don't use pillows.

Much earlier in the week I washed alot of baby "kitchen" things. Some of this we won't use for a while, but I wanted to get it done...so now it's clean and organized in "Will's cabinet". Yay! Will has a cabinet!

We are so enjoying getting ready for Will. I absolutely cannot wait to meet him!! At my specialist appointment today, he was measuring right on time...no longer a monster baby and no longer projected to be "huge." Maybe we'll get some good use out of those newborn clothes, afterall. He's apparently "grown into himself..." :)
