Waiting

I attempted to upload some pics from our wonderful mountain trip we took with my Dad, Kathy, Angie and Cory over fall break...but my camera battery died...since my memory card is corrupt, my computer won't read it, therefore I cannot upload pics! :(

Things are going well here. We are anxiously awaiting next Monday when we find out what sweet baby Roberts is. My strong hunch is that (s)he is a girl...but who can really be sure? I was certain with Walker, though not nearly as vocal as I am now, that he was a boy. Turns out I was right. We'll see if my mother's intuition holds up this time. Either way, we'll just be excited to know and it doesn't matter to us what we have...though the idea of having a little girl and all the excitement of the "newness" that would bring to our family is definitely intriguing. But, having "brothers" would be really cool and they'd have a special bond that I am not sure Walker would share with the sister he doesn't want. :) He does not want a girl. He says girls are gross and he doesn't want to have girl toys in his house...so, we'll see! Plus, we already have all things boy!

Walker's growing more anxious about the arrival of the baby. The past two times we've seen babies in public he's said "Mommy, that baby wants to hit me." I don't know where this is coming from, and honestly it's a little bothersome to me. But, I am sure it's normal...right?? The other thing he's concerned about when we see babies is "that baby wants my Pablo, mommy..." Cliff MIGHT have had a little to do with this concern when he tried to convince Walker that giving the baby his Pablo would be a good idea. We've learned our lesson!

He told Grammie the other day that it would be a really long time before the baby came out of my tummy. It will definitely be interesting to see how he adjusts to having another little one in our house! I've already started feeling anxious about being in the hospital for 3 or 4 nights and away from Walker.

Baby Roberts is kicking like crazy these days, and I am loving it. It's taken me a long time to get as "into" this pregnancy as I was with Walker. Nothing is as new and exciting this go round b/c I've been there and done that. But, I must say my excitement is escalating at the thought of learning the gender, building a nursery, finally settling on a name, etc...SO FUN!

This is about it for us right now. I'll update soon with a gender announcement! (though most of you will probably hear from me in person before I even do that!)
