A Boy and His Poppy (and his Uncle Cory)...

It's tradition that all the siblings and their families spend the night at my Dad's house on NYE. (along with many other nights throughout the year that we make "tradition...") We just enjoy being together! This year on NY day, we ventured outside with Walker for a while. I had no idea the fun that awaited us...I still am not sure I really believe it all!
This may be illegal in some form or fashion...but it's also driven by pure, matchless love. This is my Dad building a fire for my two year old little boy who asked for a fire to put out. They say there is nothing a grandparent won't do for their grandchild. Now I believe it. Never, and I repeat NEVER would we have ever been allowed to put out a real fire as kids (or even now!) Walker is blessed beyond belief with love. :)
Here is my Dad building a fire for Walker. And here's Walker putting out my Dad's...well... :) Guess who put him up to that?
This picture is misleading, but perfect. The fire really wouldn't burn. They were using Christmas tree that was still green and he wind was blowing like crazy. It blazed orange for a few seconds and I was just lucky enough to catch it on camera. :)
The rest of the time, he just put out smoke...and had the time of his life. What a spoiled little fireman!
