Well, this is what the baby looks like. Obviously this is not our baby but rather a picture of a 6 week fetus. This week the baby's intestines are developing and blood is beginning to circulate through it's body. Breathing passages are beginning to develop where the lungs will be and muscle fibers are building. About half way through this week, the baby should start moving those tiny limbs.
Overall, I've felt pretty good today. I am honestly dying to be sick. In some crazy way I think that will make me feel like things are progressing appropriately. I've had moments of nausea here and there and some other symptoms as well. So far I haven't started craving anything but I did see ice cream sandwiches in the grocery store tonight and knew I had to have one! It was yummy!
We've been cleaning house all weekend in an effort to get ready for the Super Bowl party. We still hadn't put our Christmas decorations back in the attic! It's all done now though. We are exhausted! Goodnight!
