An Egg Slightly Cracked

At first glance, this may just look like a bunch of silly girls trapped in another decade...but it's so much more than that. :)

This is a picture that literally moves me to tears because this is the one picture I have of all my closest friends together.
My closest friends are comprised of girls from many different walks of life. (hence not having any other pictures of them all together...) Many of them only know each other because of what they've heard about each other from me...but one thing is for sure-they all know how much each other means to me.

Despite the fact that each of these friendships have their own unique origination, they all share a common bond-these are true friends-real friends-friends that I've "done" life with...and friends that love and support me no matter what. These are the girls in my life that I feel 100% confident around all the time. Insecurity being a real struggle for me, it's amazing that I have this many girls that I can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt, I never feel insecure around because they have time and time again earned my trust and companionship by their loyalty, love and dedication to me through the years...and even one of them just over a few months time.

I've faced some of life's hardest ups and downs with these girls...and have so many memories of sharing heartache and happiness with each of them, and you can't just find that anywhere. I am so blessed...

Females face insecurities, and we don't talk about them enough-we aren't open with each other enough-we want to hide our struggles and mask who we are deep inside...and I do it too, all the time. But not here. This place, in my heart where these friends reside is full of love, support, trust, adoration, companionship, sisterhood, accountability, confidence, and foreverness...and it's by the grace of God that I can call them my "forever friends..."
