The title of my post pretty much sums up my little boy. Except I'd need to add in oodles of love...he's so loving and affectionate! (I'm sure I won't like that part when he is old enough to date!)

These two pictures show him actually hitting a ball pitched to him. He's very coordinated. I thought about getting him one of those tee ball sets, by why bother when he can hit it as pitched? He swings a little odd and still can't decide whether he's a lefty or righty but he makes contact. One ball hit Cliff in the chest!

Notice the bat flying through the air...this is what happens everytime he hits it. Hopefully eventually he will grasp the concept of "running the bases" instead of just clapping for himself!

And on to the trains. One word: Obsessed. He still stands by his desire to have a "Damas da Chain" birthday party. We'll see. :)

This was right after bath and before PJ's...and obviously before his hair had been brushed!

Go, Train, Go! (no, I don't hear this a million times a day...)

So, the Pablo plan from my last post worked wonderfully...for about a week! Saturday night, he came out of his room, handed me Pablo and said "here Mommy...Gawker stay up!" Ahhhh ha ha ha ha ha. I literally just started laughing. I didn't know what else to do. :) Soo...after a few difficult nights at bedtime, we knew we must regain control! We went to Target to get an extra tall baby gate that he couldn't climb over and all they had was the extra wide/extra tall. Target has annoying return policies and I was afraid to spend so much money on something I wasn't sure would work, so we went with plan B. I got door knob guards...my condition upon doing this, that I made with myself, was that Walker got to pick out a lamp for his room because he's been very uneasy with darkness lately-and he rips nightlights out of the wall, we discovered last night. So...here's the lamp he picked out! It's so cute-the whistle hanging from it is actually how it turns on and off.

And here are his new sheets he got to pick out...Damas da Chain, of course. :) And no, he's NOT asleep-he's a good faker!

So, tonight's gone well. He did get out of his room-ripped that door knob guard slap off and into 2 pieces, but I think I must not have clicked it into place correctly because after I put him back in the bed, promised to make him cookies to share with Judy tomorrow and shut his door, he wasn't able to get back out...though he tried. He was asleep in 5 minutes...and life is good. :)

That lamp is too cute!
We did the exact same thing. Gehrig quickly discovered how to unlatch a baby gate, so we've got the cover over the door knob. Now instead of wandering all over the house, we just hear him beating on the door. Usually when you ignore it (at night) he'll climb back into bed.
